For over a century, Danieli Group has been a leader in industrial machinery manufacturer, known for its exceptional quality and innovation in the industry. Beyond its core business, the company is also committed to nurturing talent and contributing to educational initiatives. Its partnership with the University of Udine exemplifies this commitment, providing scholarships that enable top students to pursue unique learning experiences. Particularly, 28 students will have the opportunity to attend a specialized course in New York, marking a historic first for the university.

These students will attend a course at St. John’s University, focused on intercultural management. The program is designed to equip students with essential skills for navigating global business environments, such as leadership, intercultural communication, and managing change. It combines theoretical lectures with practical workshops, offering six academic credits. The aim is to prepare students to tackle the complexities of modern intercultural landscapes effectively.

The students chosen hail from the Engineering Management program and were selected based on their academic performance and distinctive capabilities. The selection process ensures only the most talented individuals benefit from this educational journey. Scholarships funded by both public and private entities, including Danieli Group, ABS, Fondazione Friuli, and Alig, ensure these students can participate without financial constraints.

A highlight of the program is a special lecture at the United Nations headquarters in New York. This educational event allows students to engage in a prestigious international setting and gain insights into global intercultural dynamics. The UN’s New York location, a symbol of international cooperation, provides an inspiring backdrop for this experience.

The collaboration between the University of Udine and St. John’s University underscores their dedication to offering high-quality education that prepares students for leadership in today’s world. Located in a dynamic and culturally diverse city, St. John’s provides an ideal environment for this advanced learning experience.

Financial backing from partners has been crucial in facilitating this program, emphasizing the importance of investing in education and future leaders. Both the University of Udine and St. John’s University aspire to make the Intercultural Management course a model for future academic collaborations. Plans are underway to expand this initiative, continuing to offer high-caliber growth and learning opportunities.
